Do you really need facial toner?

There's been a question about whether toner is necessary or good for your skin. Some find it not necessary but it's actually a must-have for dry skin.
I'm sure you are aware of many types of facial toners in the market. There is an old belief that toner is used for wiping off residues that are left behind from washing your face. But toners nowadays do more meaningful job than that. Your face is supposed to be clean already after cleansing so what you need (and I prefer) is a functional toner that provides immediate moisture and closes the pores, knowing that pores are open after cleansing.
Toner is necessary to me, it preps my skin and channels the serums or lotion (whatever we put on our face) deeply to my skin.
Rosewater in spray can be a good option for its natural moisturising benefits, and best of all no cotton pads are needed so your toner won't be wasted and you don't stretch your skin too much. Spray at least 5 sprays all over the face for a complete coverage and penetration. And make sure you start your regimen right after it. You will see the difference - your serum and cream are absorbed and work better. Happy toning!
